Harvard Federal Credit Union (Harvard FCU) proudly announces the opening of its newest branch at One Brigham Circle in Boston’s Mission Hill neighborhood. Harvard FCU has served the health care providers in the Longwood Medical Area for decades. Now, for the first time in its 86-year history, Harvard Federal Credit Union can also serve eligible residents outside of the Harvard University network due to its new federal charter. 

Located at 1614 Tremont Street, Harvard FCU, in conjunction with Mission Hill Main Streets, will commemorate the occasion with a grand opening celebration at the branch on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. The festivities take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., where guests can meet the Harvard FCU team, enjoy complimentary bites from Solid Ground Café and have an opportunity to win gift cards from other local businesses. Guests will also learn about how they could earn up to $300 in incentive-based specials and promotions through the end of September. Harvard Federal Credit Union will also make a $5,000 donation to Mission Hill Main Streets, a non-profit organization that works with local businesses, residents and community organizations to revitalize its local shopping district which spans Tremont Street, from Roxbury Crossing to Brigham Circle and Huntington Avenue, from Longwood Avenue to South Huntington and Heath Street.
