We hope to create a space here that serves as a direct link to our constituents, fostering communication, addressing concerns, and facilitating engagement with the legislative process. We recently surveyed over 200 constituents in a recent survey sent to the district, asking for feedback and ideas. We garnered significant feedback in having more community meetings, town halls and office hours, and hope this district office can be a place for community gatherings, organizing town hall meetings, workshops, and other events to connect with constituents, gather feedback on legislation, and address local concerns. Our team also hopes to strengthen our role in educating the public about legislative issues and encouraging civic engagement in the policymaking process.
